Speech by the Head of the Public Law Department

Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, Muhammad, and upon his good and pure family. After that:
The Department of Public Law at the College of Law, University of Dhi Qar, was and still is one of the basic pillars upon which the College of Law was founded - since its establishment, and it has contributed effectively to pushing its progress forward through an elite group of distinguished professors.
إPublic law, by virtue of the unequal relationships it regulates and its relentless pursuit of reconciling the necessities of authority with the requirements of freedom, and with its various internal and external dimensions, completes the environment.It is a fertile field where law is intertwined with philosophy, politics, finance, and society, which is reflected in the importance of the role that the department plays, both academically and in society.
In its pursuit of fulfilling its assigned role optimally, the Public Law Department teaches a range of courses in the disciplines of public international law, constitutional law, administrative law, and financial law, through a distinguished elite of faculty members.
Likewise, the Public Law Department, as one of the departments of the Faculty of Law, is keen to provide the college with legal knowledge in the field of public law, which focuses on researching the relationship between the state and individuals and between the state and other states.
The department includes various specializations in the field of public law, and offers postgraduate studies at the master's and doctoral levels. The department hopes to introduce new studies in the coming years that meet the needs of society in fulfillment of the college's mission to serve the community.
The department also pays special attention to scientific research in addition to its positive interaction with community issues, which ultimately leads to enhancing the college’s position as a leading academic institution capable of competing with other law colleges at home and abroad.
