The Assistant (or Associate) serves as the right-hand man to the highest official in the institution, taking responsibility for supervising a specific sector of the institution's duties on behalf of the President or Dean.

🎯 Functions of the Assistant Dean/President for Administrative Affairs Office

The Administrative Assistant focuses on managing human resources, financial, and material affairs:
* 1. Administrative and Personnel Affairs:
* Supervising the Human Resources Unit (Personnel Affairs) and following up on their files (appointment, transfer, administrative leave).
* Monitoring the attendance and departure of staff and faculty, and working hours.
* Supervising the Central Mail Unit and the flow of administrative correspondence.
* 2. Financial and Services Affairs:
* Overseeing the implementation of the budget and monitoring expenditures and procurement in coordination with Financial Affairs.
* Supervising logistical services, buildings, maintenance, warehouses, and furniture.
* 3. Student Affairs:
* Following up on the work of the Student Affairs Unit and issuing administrative orders related to student admission, registration, and graduation (in some organizational structures).
* Supervising student activities, including sports and cultural events.
