Overview Missions and Relations Unit
The Missions and Relations Unit is one of the key administrative units at the college. It is responsible for organizing and managing matters related to scholarships, fellowships, and academic missions, as well as strengthening scientific and academic relationships with local and international universities and institutions. This contributes to the development of the educational process and the enhancement of academic and research standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Managing and following up on scholarship, fellowship, and study leave affairs inside and outside Iraq.
2. Organizing nomination procedures for scholarships and fellowships in accordance with approved regulations and instructions.
3. Monitoring dispatched faculty members and staff during their assignment period and preparing periodic reports.
4. Coordinating with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and relevant authorities regarding missions and academic relations.
5. Enhancing academic, scientific, and cultural cooperation with local and international universities and research institutions.
6. Preparing official correspondence related to academic agreements and memoranda of understanding.
7. Organizing and hosting visiting academic delegations and coordinating their programs within the college.
8. Contributing to the organization of joint conferences, seminars, and scientific workshops.
9. Archiving and maintaining missions and relations files and documents in accordance with approved regulations.
10. Performing any other tasks assigned by the College Deanship within the scope of the unit’s responsibilities.
