Speech by the Head of the Private Law Department

I am pleased to welcome you to the Private Law Department and I am honored to begin by introducing you to the task performed by professors of private law. As we know, the law exists to regulate the relationships between different parties in society, and these relationships may be between one individual and another.It may be between states, or between an individual and a state, acting as a subject of both public and private law. The Private Law Department specializes in teaching students the laws that govern private relationships within the private sector, such as commercial law, property law, personal status law, and civil law. This task is undertaken by a group of distinguished faculty members. The Private Law Department currently includes:
*16 faculty members.
*6 of them hold the title of Professor.
*6 of them hold the title of Lecturer.
*The department head holds the title of Assistant Lecturer.
